Meet Your Consultant
Meghan Smauley is a CLNC certified legal nurse consultant with over 10 years experience in nursing, including long-term care, mental health nursing, and healthcare quality management.
Meghan completed her Certificate in Practical Nursing in 2015, and her Associate's Degree in Nursing in 2017. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2019. She also holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Compliance from the University of Southern California's Gould School of Law, which she completed in 2021.
More recently, Meghan served 4 years as Risk Manager for a regional mid-level medical center in Southwest Michigan. During this time, she gained experience in conducting in-depth chart reviews, writing brief case summaries, and collaborating with legal council on medical malpractices lawsuits.
